Practicing Laughter Yoga is similar to aerobic exercise which brings more oxygen to the body and brain making you feel more healthy and energetic. Therapeutic laughter strengthen the immune system which not only prevents you from falling sick, but also has the potential to help recover from a variety of health issues.

Laughter Yoga as a method of health prevention was initiated in India in 1995 by medical doctor Madan Kataria, who focused on the medical benefits supported by scientific research that the practice of laughter can provide – lowering cortisol levels, activating endorphins, oxygenating or increasing immunity through full exchange. air in the lungs. Research on the benefits of laughter also shows, among other things, an increase in the secretion of anti-cancer NK cells and a beneficial effect on the heart. In addition, there are psychological benefits, starting with an increase in well-being due to the happiness hormones stimulated by laughter, as well as a friendly atmosphere in the group; a common experience of class participants is stress reduction and a feeling of well-being. Laughter is also a psychological sign of emotional well-being.
